France
These are mostly old images from early in my progression as a photographer. Though most are subject-driven images, there are hints in the best images of the photographer I have become. I am enjoying the record of this evolution and will, I think, take the same satisfaction in ten years looking back at the work I am creating now. Some of these are easily considered ‘snap-shots’. Words of advice here: if you want to make better photographs, make better snap-shots. In other words, care for your images, always. It will show.
UPDATE: I’ve been back to Southern France each year since 2014. I’ve added some images to reflect my travels there and the workshop I lead early each July. Contact me if interested. This year will see a particular focus on the lavender and landscape around Valensole, while also having four spectacular shoots with the horses in the Carmargue.
